Baker said getting better throughout the season is the focus as the Vikings chase a fifth straight league title.

Outlook: The Marauders have a strong core of returners from their squad that reached the Division 3 state quarterfinals last season. Ava Bates was the co-player of the year in the MMAC and is joined by Cole, Tokar and Hailee Campbell as returning all-league selections. Cunningham said some younger players will have to step up and fill some voids to help Ovid-Elsie in its pursuit of another strong season.
