Kevin Durant passed by LeBron James as overall leader in NBA All-Star Game fan vote

The second return of NBA All-Star Game fan votes are in, and Kevin Durant remains the leading vote-getter in the Eastern Conference. However, the Brooklyn Nets forward is not longer the No. 1 vote-getter in the entire league. That title now belongs to Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James.

James now has 4,369,533 votes to Durant’s 4,234,433 after the Brooklyn forward had over a 14,000-vote advantage (2,302,705-2,288,676) as of the first fan vote returns. Durant still holds a sizable lead over Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (3,282,478 votes) for top player in the Eastern Conference, extending his lead by over 400,000 votes.

Kyrie Irving remains the No. 2 guard in the East with 2,104,130 votes, though Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (2,528,719 votes) has extended his lead as the conference’s top guard in in the fan vote. James Harden remains the No. 3 Eastern Conference guard with 1,829,504 fan votes.
