Kevin Durant (knee) out, Giannis Antetokounmpo (quad) doubtful for Suns-Bucks showdown Sunday
MILWAUKEE — Kevin Durant (right MCL sprain) and Landry Shamet (right foot soreness) are both ruled out of Sunday’s Suns-Bucks showdown at Fiserv Forum.
Durant has yet to make his Phoenix debut as he hasn’t played since Jan. 8 at Miami.
Averaging 29.7 points this season, the two-time finals MVP came to Phoenix (33-28) in a blockbuster trade right before the Feb. 9 deadline.

Shamet hasn’t seen action since Jan. 16 at Memphis as he'll be re-evaluated again next week. The Suns continue their road trip Wednesday at Charlotte.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (right quad contusion) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game while Wesley Matthews (right calf strain) is listed out. Antetokounmpo played six minutes in Friday’s win over Miami in returning from a sprained right wrist before leaving the game in the first quarter.
He was first diagnosed with a knee injury after he knocked knees with a Heat player.
Jae Crowder made his Bucks debut Friday after being part the Durant trade that sent him to Brooklyn and later was dealt to Milwaukee (42-17).
The veteran forward scored nine points, going 2-of-2 on 3s, off the bench in 16 minutes Friday as the Bucks have won their last 13 games.
If Antetokounmpo can’t play Sunday, Crowder could very well get the start against his former team.
Crowder didn’t play a single game for the Suns this season after the two sides “mutually agreed” he wouldn’t attend training camp.
Former Suns guard Jevon Carter is in his first full season with the Bucks. Averaging a career-best 7.6 points, Carter has started a career-high 32 games this season.
Carter started a total of nine games in his first four NBA seasons out of West Virginia.
