Kentucky's Mr. and Ms. Golf winners, All-State golf selections including Louisville area

Greenwood High School senior Jacob Lang and Henry Clay junior Kylah Lunsford have been named Kentucky’s Mr. and Ms. Golf for the 2023 season.

Lang took Mr. Golf honors after earning a season-high 1,435 points on the All-State points list. The University of Kentucky commit tied for fourth place in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association state championships last month at Bowling Green Country Club.

Lunsford earned Ms. Golf honors by totaling 1,245 points on the All-State list. She finished sixth in the KHSAA state championships.

Coach of the Year honors went to Madison Central’s Kyle Congleton (boys) and Sacred Heart’s Mackenzie Moir (girls).

Three boys from the Louisville area received first-team All-State honors: Christian Academy’s Brady Smith, Oldham County’s Tyler Wirth and South Oldham’s Griffin Barke.

Sacred Heart’s Emma Lindemoen and Keira Yun represented Louisville on the girls first team.

Boys second team: Landon Hunt (McCracken County), Seth Shelley (Spencer County), Sam Guest (Collins), Davis Morris (Marshall County), Jake Feldhaus (Mason County), Conner Ford (Rockcastle County), Caleb Eaglin (Newport Central Catholic), Carl Space (Frederick Douglass), Bradford Lacefield (Woodford County), Grant Broughton (Daviess County)
