Kansas State women's basketball senior night has NCAA Tournament implications as well

MANHATTAN — Kansas State women's basketball plays its final regular-season home game on Wednesday night, when Iowa State visits Bramlage Coliseum for a 6:30 p.m. tipoff.

The No. 14-ranked Wildcats, who will honor seniors Ayoka Lee, Gabby Gregory and Rebekah Dallinger in a postgame ceremony, can enhance their chances of getting back to Bramlage in the postseason with a victory against Iowa State.

According to the latest NCAA Tournament bracketology reports, K-State (21-5, 12-4 Big 12) remains on track to open at home as one of the 16 top-four regional seeds. Beating Iowa State (16-10, 10-6) would give the Wildcats a season split after they fell to the Cyclones in double overtime, 96-93, two weeks ago.

The Wildcats are coming off a 58-55 loss at Kansas on Sunday, but before that knocked off No. 22 West Virginia in overtime at home, 73-64, last Wednesday. Iowa State has won two straight and three of its last four.

Here are the latest bracketology projections for Kansas State's women.
