Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 12 game

The Kansas City Chiefs (7-3) seek to brush off a bitter loss against their AFC West foe Las Vegas Raiders (5-6) during a Week 12 game at Allegiant Stadium.

The defending Super Bowl champions fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 21-17 in a rematch of the title game. The Chiefs haven't scored in the second half in three straight games. They lead the league with 26 dropped catches so far this season. Their defense is third in the league, as they've allowed 1,708 passing yards and Chris Jones has 7.5 sacks. Kansas City hasn't lost consecutive games since Week 2 and 3 of the 2021 season.

The Raiders lost to the Miami Dolphins 20-13 and forced one of the best offenses in the league to commit three turnovers. Rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell has thrown three touchdowns and six interceptions — three in the effort against the Dolphins — but he has gotten veteran wide receiver Davante Adams more involved. Against Miami, Adams had seven catches for 82 yards and only his fourth touchdown of the season.

This is the first time Las Vegas and Kansas City face off this season. Patrick Mahomes is 10-2 against the Raiders.

Lorenzo Reyes: Chiefs 26, Raiders 18

Kansas City has been up-and-down on offense and it should handle a Raiders team that has been more competitive with Antonio Pierce as interim coach. The Chiefs defense has been one of the NFL’s best all season long. Take the Eagles loss with a grain of salt; that was a really good defense. That said, this is quite a bit line.

Tyler Dragon: Chiefs 28, Raiders 20

A season-high five dropped passes led to Kansas City’s demise against the Eagles. The Chiefs’ offensive struggles, particularly at wide receiver are magnified against good football teams. The Raiders aren’t a good football team, so the Chiefs should be fine. Patrick Mahomes is 29-4 against the AFC West in his career.

Safid Deen: Chiefs 26, Raiders 13

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs coming off a loss to the Eagles is bad news for Antonio Pierce and the Raiders. Chiefs should roll easily and find some continuity again offensively.

Victoria Hernandez: Chiefs 24, Raiders 17

The Chiefs will be fired up to bounce back from a loss in the Super Bowl rematch and their defense is actually their bolster this season. The Raiders have been settling back into reality that talent-wise, they're just not quite up there with the elite teams like the Dolphins and Chiefs.

Jordan Mendoza: Chiefs 33, Raiders 20

The Raiders gave Miami all they could handle, but it won’t get any easier with the defending champions coming. Kansas City has owned this series recently, scoring at least 30 points in the past seven meetings, while the Raiders haven’t beaten Kansas City at home since 2018, when they were still in Oakland. Chiefs Kingdom invades Las Vegas once again to see the 11th win in 12 meetings against the Raiders.
