Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 15 game

The Kansas City Chiefs (8-5) have lost two in a row, and they'll try to get back on track for the No. 1 seed in the AFC against a rejuvenated New England Patriots (3-10) team in Week 15.

The Patriots are officially out of playoff contention, but it had to be encouraging to see the offense come to life in a surprising win against playoff contender Pittsburgh Steelers on "Thursday Night Football." Bailey Zappe appears to be the guy at quarterback at the moment, and with only a few games left, New England must decide if it wants to build something with its roster now or prepare for a top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

It was an ending Chiefs players, coaches and fans were not happy about in Week 14, as Kansas City fell to the Buffalo Bills after a touchdown was wiped out by an offensive offsides call. Now, the Chiefs have dropped back-to-back games and their lead in the AFC West is down to one game. Can they get back on track?

Lorenzo Reyes: Chiefs 16, Patriots 10

Kansas City should win this game and snap a two-game losing streak. But this offense, right now, seems incapable of blowing out what is a very good Patriots defense.

Tyler Dragon: Chiefs 28, Patriots 13

Kansas City’s lost three of its last four games, including a frustrating three-point loss to Buffalo. The Patriots are the perfect opponent for the Chiefs to have a bounce-back game against. The Chiefs' final four games are versus the Patriots, Raiders, Bengals and Chargers – each team is starting a QB that began the year on the bench.

Safid Deen: Chiefs 30, Patriots 10

Patrick Mahomes made a fool of himself after the Chiefs' loss to the Bills and will make a statement this week on the road against the Patriots.

Victoria Hernandez: Chiefs 23, Patriots 10

Yes, the Chiefs are riding a two-game losing streak and have some major accountability issues. But there just isn’t a comparison between these two teams. Last week, the Patriots beat a scattered Steelers squad and they won’t be able to hang with an angry Patrick Mahomes.

Jordan Mendoza: Chiefs 29, Patriots 9

Kansas City is badly in need of picking up a victory. Given all the problems with New England's offense, the defense has been legit in the past month and could give the Chiefs fits early in the game. But the unit won't be able to contain Patrick Mahomes and company for too long, as the Chiefs pick up the win.
