There was a lot of action across the Fayetteville area as fans witnessed top-notch competition throughout the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 3 as conference basketball play starts to heat up down the stretch.
TRINITY CHRISTIAN'S UPSET: Trinity Christian basketball makes statement with win over 3-time reigning state champion
Amongst that action, Trinity Christian made a statement this week, going 3-0 with two solid wins over Northwood Temple Academy and an upset win over the top-ranked private school in the state, The Burlington School, on Saturday, as well as a 1,000-point milestone from Westover's R'mani Robinson, and a pair of NCHSAA State Championship qualifications in track & field.
