Justice Hill says Ravens have the best running back group in the NFL

Baltimore is loaded on offense and even after adding Odell Beckham to the passing game, Todd Monken’s bread and butter could be a versatile rushing attack.

The Ravens have six players on the roster capable of carrying the load and after a 20-19 win over the Eagles in the preseason opener, Justice Hill made a pretty bold claim.

“I feel like we have the best running back room in the league,” Hill said. “We all bring a different skillset, and whenever we‘re all out there, we can show that. Whatever number is called, whoever’s number is called, we all just go out there and execute and make plays.”

Against the Eagles, the Ravens rushed for 133 yards while averaging 4.5 yards per carry.

Baltimore just got J.K. Dobbins back off the PUP list, and he will attack teams along with Gus Edwards, Melvin Gordon, and rookie Keaton Mitchell.

Gus Edwards

Edwards has played 4 seasons for the Ravens. He has 501 carries for 2,585 yards, 18 catches for 194 yards and has scored 13 touchdowns.

In nine games last season, Edwards had 87 carries for 433 yards and three touchdowns.

J.K. Dobbins

Dobbins has played two seasons for Baltimore, rushing for 1,325-yards on 26 carreis. Dobbins also has 25 catches for 162 yards and has scored 12 touchdowns.

Dobbins had 92 carries for 520 yards and 3 touchdowns in 8 games last season.

Justice Hill

Hill has played three seasons for the Ravens, logging 119 carries for 547 yards, 25 catches for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Last season Hill had 49 carries for 262 yards.

Melvin Gordon III

Gordon has played eight NFL seasons for the Chargers and Broncos. He has 1,567 carries for 6,462 yards, 309 catches for 2,467 yards and has scored 69 touchdowns.

Last season, Gordon logged 90 carries for 318 yards and two touchdowns.
