JuJu Smith-Schuster partners with Walmart to bring Christmas to over 200 children

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is doing his part to bring some holiday cheer to residents of the Pittsburgh area. In conjunction with his JuJu Foundation and Walmart, Smith-Schuster gave more than 200 kids in the Pittsburgh area $100 Walmart gift cards for Christmas.

This holiday, I wanted to share a small gift with all of you. In partnership with the Walmart Foundation, I’m excited to let each of you know that you will be receiving a $100 Walmart gift card to use on some toys and Christmas gifts this year,” said Smith-Schuster in a release. “I hope this will bring a sense joy and happiness to you and your families this holiday season!

This is in addition to Smith-Schuster paying off layaways for 88 families in Pittsburgh at a local Burlington store totaling $12,500.

Smith-Schuster has been getting some bad press lately for his TikTok dances before games on opposing team’s logos. But it’s important to understand just a little bit of the good Smith-Schuster does for the community and understand this is just the latest example of the good work he does in the Pittsburgh area.
