Juan Thornhill takes issue with PFF’s top 32 safety list

PFF has released their list ranking the top 32 safeties in the NFL but seems to have left one off the list that deserved to be on it. New Cleveland Browns safety Juan Thornhill was left off the list and he took to social media to voice his disagreement with being left off it.

I agree with Thornhill being displeased as he belongs among the top 32 players in his position. Thornhill is one of the better deep coverage safeties with a high football IQ that provides security in the back end of the defense.

Last year Thornhill allowed just four touchdowns in coverage and less than 100 yards after catch all year. Though he might not be the best safety in the league Thornhill does deserve more respect. Thornhill finished with five pass breakups and three interceptions in 2022.
