Jordan Whitehead helping keep Jets alive vs. Bills with 3 INTs after Aaron Rodgers injury

It certainly is not how Jets fans and the NFL world expected it to go down, but the Jets are battling the Bills late in their season-opener on Monday night.

Of course, this comes without Aaron Rodgers after he left the game with an ankle injury on his first drive as the Jets quarterback. The much-anticipated debut came to a crashing halt when a Leonard Floyd sack forced him to exit early, and Jets fans are eagerly awaiting an update.

Meanwhile, the vaunted Gang Green defense is balling out to keep the team in the game. Leading the way is safety Jordan Whitehead, who has three interceptions of Josh Allen. The most recent came as the Jets were hanging in at 13-6 midway through the fourth quarter.

Zach Wilson then threw a fade to Garrett Wilson, which was miraculously hauled in off of a deflection to tie the game.

If the Jets can somehow pull off an upset of the Bills after the devastating Rodgers injury, Whitehead will undoubtedly be the hero of the game.
