Jordan Love mic'd up at Dodgers game, and he sure likes 'the wave'

The summer of Jordan Love continues for the Green Bay Packers quarterback ... and we haven't even really gotten to the summer of it yet.

Bleacher Report attached a microphone to Love as he attended a Los Angeles Dodgers game Tuesday, where he expressed admiration for Caitlin Clark, discussed his days as an umpire in the summer and demonstrated that his lyrical knowledge of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" is … limited.

Love indicated at one point that he badly wanted to see a home run, but as the video points out, Love was looking away when Dodgers star Mookie Betts slugged one in the eventual 5-4 Dodgers win over the Giants.

Don't worry, Jordan. Betts has five of those, and you'll surely have a chance to see more.

Love explained that he was once "cussed out by parents" as an umpire for age 8-12 summer baseball games, and he also wanted nothing to do with a foul ball that landed nearby his spot on the first-base line.

Oh, and one other thing; he really enjoyed participating in the wave. Take that for what you will, sports fans.

This is not Jordan Love doing 'The Wave,' but he certainly didn't mind the fan eccentricity when attending a Dodgers game while mic'd up on Tuesday.

Love's incredible first season at the helm of the Green Bay Packers offense has led into a high-profile offseason, which has included plenty of California workouts.

But he's been a fixture at his girlfriend's pro volleyball matches, been spotted courtside at basketball games and also made a bevy of podcast appearances and even a trip to Las Vegas for a tennis match between two greats in the sport, all while sitting next to Colin Kaepernick.
