Joe Burrow makes NFL history with third straight 300-yard game

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made some amazing history Sunday during his team’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Burrow hit the 300-yard mark by the fourth quarter of the homestand at Paul Brown Stadium, becoming the first rookie quarterback to ever throw for 300 yards three consecutive times.

Before Sunday, Burrow had put up 312 passing yards in the Week 3 tie with Philadelphia and prior to that, 316 yards on the historic 61 attempts during the Thursday night loss to Cleveland.

Burrow didn’t dice up the Jaguars defense with a ton of flashy scores on a day Joe Mixon simply erupted, but he did have two touchdown passes negated by flags or miscues by his receivers.

Regardless, knowing Burrow, he’s probably just happy the team looked so improved after the 0-2-1 start to his career entering Sunday.
