Joe Burrow does pregame sprints with teammates before Bengals' preseason opener
Cincinnati Bengals fans were encouraged to see star quarterback Joe Burrow doing sprints with his teammates before the start of the team's preseason loss to the Arizona Cardinals, believed to be among the most rigorous of his workouts since his appendectomy last month.
Burrow, who ditched his golf cart for training camp practice Monday, is among starters not expected to play in Friday night's game at Paul Brown Stadium.
Social media reactions, including from The Enquirer's Charlie Goldsmith and Kelsey Conway:
Joe Burrow is doing some full sprints.
Again, the most we've seen from Burrow this summer. https://t.co/GyUpUMs8W1— Charlie Goldsmith (@CharlieG__) August 12, 2022
Not a great photo, but since the #Bengals starters aren’t playing, they are doing a fairly taxing pregame workout. That’s Joe Burrow around the 10-yard line. It’s a good sign to see him doing sprints with his teammates pic.twitter.com/PqIC8BCbZC

This is a very positive sign in Joe Burrow’s return to the field post-appendectomy https://t.co/C8LlznkR66
