Jets adding Graham Harrell to quarterback mix

The New York Jets' unresolved quarterback situation is about to get a newcomer.

The Jets, who haven't decided on a starter between Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith, have reached a deal with former Green Bay Packers quarterback Graham Harrell, according to FOX Sports.

Harrell got beaten out by Vince Young as the backup to Aaron Rodgers and was promptly released.

Sanchez is sidelined with a shoulder injury, Smith is coming off a sprained ankle and a three-interception game and the Jets could use reinforcements for their preseason finale.

The Jets also have quarterbacks Matt Simms and Greg McElroy on the roster.
