New Jersey wrestling Top 20 with the NJSIAA team tournament just days away

The dual-meet season has reached the home stretch.

Thirteen days from now, the seven NJSIAA group champions will be crowned at Rutgers University's Jersey Mike's Arena. The team tournament is being seeded Tuesday.

Seeding for the public school sections will be based on the power point totals through matches of Jan. 27 and head-to-head results. Head-to-head movement in each section will take place if a team defeated the one immediately above it in the final power points.

A team's power points are determined by its 10 best power points. Every power team in the state got to the needed 10-match total last week, including No. 1 St. Joseph (Montvale).
