Jersey number updates for Chiefs’ recent signings

Practically every player on the Kansas City Chiefs’ 90-man roster has been assigned a jersey number.

From recent free agent signings to undrafted free agents, a number of the newest players who’ve landed in Kansas City have officially received a jersey number. Draft picks got their jersey numbers squared away early on in the process. The only players we don’t have yet are LT Donovan Smith and newly-signed CB Ekow Boye-Doe, but every other player on the 90-man roster has been assigned a jersey number.

Some players, such as Blaine Gabbert, are departing from long-worn jersey numbers as they start new chapters with new teams. Others are fortunate enough to be able to hold onto jersey numbers they’ve worn in the past. One Chiefs player even switched to a number worn by a former teammate.

Remember, NFL teams are permitted to have duplicate jersey numbers for the 90-man offseason roster, so long as one is on offense and the other on defense.
