Jayson Tatum doing it all vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers led the way for the Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics secured a persuasive 116-107 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at TD Garden on Thursday night, extending their winning streak to 2-0 in the home-and-home miniseries and 12-0 at home for the season. The Celtics displayed improved energy and focus compared to the first tilt vs. the Cavs, with a notable emphasis on controlling the glass, particularly on the offensive end of the court.

All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum’s clutch performance in the game’s fourth quarter, scoring 12 points, played a critical role in sealing the win, and all five starters scoring in double figures certainly did not hurt. 20 points and 14 boards from the bench was a balanced, helpful effort, but the team could still use ore consistency from the reserves.

NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House and Brian Scalabrine join Amina Smith reacted to the victory after the win on the “Postgame Live” show.
