Jakobi Meyers, Kyle Dugger listed as questionable on Patriots injury report

The New England Patriots could be without two key players on both sides of the ball when taking on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3.

Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and safety Kyle Dugger both returned to practice on Friday in a limited capacity, but they were also listed on the injury report as questionable to play in Sunday’s game.

Not having Dugger on the field could be a problem against a prolific Ravens offense with tight end Mark Andrews causing matchup nightmares for nearly every team he faces. The Patriots are also going to face the maddening headache of trying to contain Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in the pocket.

Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball, Meyers has become Patriots quarterback Mac Jones’ security blanket receiver. On a unit full of question marks, Meyers is one of the few players that can consistently get open and make plays.

The other players on the injury report include cornerback Jalen Mills, safety Joshuah Bledsoe, safety Cody Davis, defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, linebacker Raekwon McMillan and safety Adrian Phillips.

This will be the first home game of the season for the Patriots, following a hard-fought Week 2 road victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens, on the other hand, are coming off a heartbreaking loss at home to the Miami Dolphins.
