Here are the Jackson area's high school volleyball top players at midseason

With the Tennessee (TSSAA) high school volleyball season nearly a month old, several players have stood out in the Jackson area.

Here is a list of some of the top names through four weeks who could be player of the year candidates when season comes to a close.

Note: Statistics provided by coaches.

Camryn Burke, Camden: Burke, a senior libero, has 299 digs, 52 aces and 51 assists.

Emma Pierce, Camden: Pierce, a junior outside hitter, has 188 kills, 141 digs and 29 aces.

Brilee Weatherly, Camden: Weatherly, a senior setter, has 241 assists, 98 digs, 33 aces and 29 kills.

Sarah Cherry, Crockett County: Cherry, a senior, has 226 kills.

Joy Evans, Crockett County: Evans, a senior, is tops on her team with 53 blocks.

Brennan Morris, Crockett County: Morris, a junior, has 80 aces.

Bailey Ann Whitby, Crockett County: Whitby, a senior, leads the Cavaliers with 580 assists.

Lauren Hudson, Dyer County: Hudson, a senior libero, has 307 digs, 50 assists and 25 aces.

Ava Huke, Dyer County: Huke, a junior middle blocker, has 111 kills, 46 blocks and 27 aces.

Teagan Reed, Dyer County: Reed, a junior outside hitter, has 245 kills, 144 digs, 12 blocks and 12 aces.

Ella Kate McCurdy, Gibson County: McCurdy, a junior outside hitter, has 143 kills, 101 digs and 46 aces.

Hannah Prestininzi, Gibson County: Prestininzi, a junior setter, has a team-high 507 assists and 68 aces.

Sonia Reaves, Gibson County: Reaves, a sophomore middle hitter, leads the Pioneers with 189 kills and 44 blocks.

Olivia Williams, Gibson County: Williams, a junior libero, has 200 digs.

Bailey Robinson, Jackson Christian: Robinson, a junior middle blocker had a season-best 20 kills and five blocks in a 3-2 division victory over Fayette Academy on Aug. 29.

Emmy Corbitt, Lexington: Corbitt, a senior libero, has 266 digs and 73 aces.

Stella Huber, Lexington: Huber, a sophomore middle hitter, has 211 kills, 122 digs and 20 blocks.

Kenzie Reeves, Lexington: Reeves, a senior setter, has 271 assists, 89 digs and 60 aces.

Edie Howell, Madison: Howell, a senior, has 85 kills and 41 aces.

Kayleigh Maxwell, Middleton: Maxwell, a senior outside hitter, has 68 kills and 42 aces.

Claire Nelson, Milan: Nelson, a senior setter, has 255 assists, 118 digs, 32 aces and 19 kills.

Travia Brooks, Peabody: Brooks, a senior, has 82 kills, 51 digs, 29 blocks and 12 aces .

Jamyia Carter, Peabody: Carter, a senior setter, has 188 digs, 85 assists, 42 kills and 34 aces.

Raegan Osteen, South Fulton: Osteen, a junior middle hitter, has 88 kills, 21 blocks, 41 digs and 32 aces.

Addison Flowers, South Gibson: Flowers, a junior libero, has 322 digs and 26 aces.

Sydney Scott, South Gibson: Scott, a junior outside hitter, has 60 kills and 187 digs and 23 aces.

Bella Suiter, South Gibson: Suiter, a senior setter, has 167 digs, 144 assists, 47 kills and 28 aces.

Aydison Dilworth, South Side: Dilworth, a sophomore middle blocker, has 188 kills, 32 blocks, 45 digs and 13 aces.

J’Lynn Paige, South Side: Paige, a senior setter, has 392 assists, 81 digs and 25 aces.

Haynes Haltom, USJ: Haltom, a junior outside hitter, has 72 kills, 107 digs and 20 aces.

Lexi Krenis, USJ: Krenis, a senior setter, has 121 assists and 59 digs.

Nyonna Parker, West Carroll: Parker, a senior, has 34 aces, 23 kills and 12 blocks.
