Jacks clinch conference championship, blows out Detroit Lakes on the road

Sep. 30—DETROIT LAKES — Three Bemidji High School boys soccer players scored their first varsity goals on Saturday.

Thomas Harris, Dash Hiller and Ben Frauenholtz scored second-half goals in the Lumberjacks' 9-0 win over Detroit Lakes. Isaac Stone scored four times, while Austin Riewer and Noah Meyer also added goals.

Kellen Heuer made three saves before Hunter Olson subbed in with 15 minutes left.

The win gave BHS (9-2-3) a Lakes to Prairie Conference championship. The Jacks are unbeaten in their last eight matches.
