The high school volleyball season is winding down with playoff spots beginning to be clinched. Here is a look at the some of the top performers from this week in high school volleyball in the Coastal Bend.
Friday
George West’s Jessa Bartlett had five kills and a block in a win against Odem.
Ray’s Kylie Cason had 13 kills, one ace and a block in a win against Victoria East.
Santa Gertrudis Academy’s Jocelyn Chavez had 79 digs in a victory against Banquete.
Odem’s Irma Coronado had 27 assists in a loss to George West.
Veterans Memorial’s Mia De La Pena had eight kills, 21 assists and 13 digs in a loss to Flour Bluff.
Beeville’s Ceecee Dembo had three kills and four blocks in a loss to Port Lavaca Calhoun.
Flour Bluff’s Lola Fisher and Ashley Stotz combined for 36 assists in a win against Veterans Memorial.
King’s Libby Foster had 29 kills in a win against Carroll.
Calallen’s Autumn Garza had 18 assists and a block in a win against Tuloso-Midway.
Banquete’s Liana Jimenez had 17 kills, 24 assists and an ace in a loss to Santa Gertrudis Academy.
London’s Ellayna McNorton had six kills, 10 digs and 17 assists in win against Falfurrias.
