Kolkata Knight Riders are currently dominating the IPL points table with 20 points, while the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are at 17 points. SRH, on Tuesday, lost the qualifier match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

KKR has won the IPL trophy twice in 2012 and 2014, while SRH lifted the trophy only once in 2016.

IPL 2024 final ceremony

The closing ceremony of the 17th edition of IPL will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET (6 p.m. India time) Sunday, with a performance by Imagine Dragons before the game at 10:00 a.m. ET (7:30 p.m. India time).

It will be held at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad: How to watch IPL 2024 final in the US on TV, streaming

The game is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST (7:30 p.m. India time) on Sunday, May 26 and will air exclusively on WillowTV.

IPL 2024 prize money

While IPL organizers have not yet announced the total prize money for this year’s edition, Al Jazeera reported that it could be anything around $6 million, based on previous trends, with the 2024 champions to get approximately $2.4 million and runners up $1.56 million.
