See the Iowa high school baseball and softball state tournament first-round matchups

The last hurrah for the 2022-23 Iowa high school sports season has arrived.

Starting Monday, the Iowa high school baseball and softball tournaments will kick off. The tournaments will run through Friday, when five different softball teams and four baseball teams will be crowned state champions in their respective classes.

The entire softball tournament will take place in Fort Dodge. The baseball tournament will be broken up in two different sites. Classes 1A and 2A will play their games in Carroll, while Classes 3A and 4A will take the diamond in Iowa City.
