Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers: Stream, game notes for Tuesday

The No. 2 Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team brings its 14-game winning streak back into Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Tuesday night when it plays host to the Wisconsin Badgers in the Black Out game.

Iowa (17-1, 6-0 Big Ten) grabbed sole possession of first place in the Big Ten standings with its 84-57 blowout win over then-No. 13 Indiana. Among the game’s key takeaways were the performances of fifth-year guards Molly Davis and Gabbie Marshall.

Davis finished with a big 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting with three rebounds and a pair of assists. Meanwhile, Marshall recorded her third straight game with four made 3-pointers.

Senior superstar Caitlin Clark was just that. The 6-foot guard from West Des Moines poured in 30 points and six 3-pointers, including several patented logo treys. She also dished out 11 assists to secure her 52nd career double-double.

Iowa’s 17-1 start is its best since the 1995-96 season and the best under head coach Lisa Bluder.

Wisconsin enters this evening losers of back-to-back games versus Northwestern, 74-69, and at Michigan, 76-52.

Iowa opened its Big Ten slate with a runaway win over Wisconsin back on Dec. 10, 2023 inside the Kohl Center. The Hawkeyes used 28 points from Clark and 21 points from sophomore forward Hannah Stuelke to rout the Badgers, 87-65. With the win, Iowa has beaten Wisconsin an incredible 28 consecutive times.
