Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Michigan State Spartans: Streaming info for Tuesday

The No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team returns to play tonight as they host the Michigan State Spartans inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The Hawkeyes (13-1, 2-0 Big Ten) enter having won 10 games in a row and after an impressive 94-71 victory over Minnesota. In that win over the Gophers, senior guard Caitlin Clark moved past Sam Logic for the all-time Iowa assists record and then set the Big Ten’s all-time assists record as she overtook former Ohio State guard Samantha Prahalis.

Clark also collected her 49th career double-double, pouring in 35 points on 13-of-22 shooting and dishing out 10 assists. The West Des Moines product also added five rebounds.

Sophomore forward Hannah Stuelke continued her strong play, contributing 19 points and eight rebounds on a hyper-efficient 9-of-10 shooting. Graduate guard Kate Martin also scored in double figures for the eighth time in the past 10 games.

Meanwhile, Michigan State (11-2, 1-1 Big Ten) has won four in a row, including its 98-87 triumph over Penn State just before the New Year. The Spartans two losses came against Creighton, 83-69, on Nov. 24 in the Cancun Challenge and against Nebraska, 80-74, on Dec. 9.

  • Michigan State’s 105 points in the win over Coastal Carolina win tied a season-high for the third time this season, matching 105 points in back-to-back games vs. Detroit Mercy (11/16) and Evansville (11/19).
