Junior guard Sydney Affolter authored a career performance, too. The 5-foot-11 guard tied her career high with 14 points on a perfect 7-for-7 shooting day.

Graduate guard Kate Martin added 17 points and junior center Addison O’Grady rounded out the Hawkeyes’ double-figure scorers with 10 points.

Iowa State (4-3) comes into tonight having won back-to-back contests over St. Thomas (85-44) and UNCW (85-58). The Cyclones have suffered losses at Drake (85-73) and versus Vanderbilt (68-53) and Syracuse (81-69) in Las Vegas, Nev., as part of the South Point Shootout.
