Iowa Cubs hand Columbus Clippers second straight loss

Recap: Iowa used a five-run seventh inning to put the game out of reach. The Clippers scored once in the eighth and once in the ninth but could not make up the deficit. The Cubs got home runs from Mike Tauchman and Jake Slughter, and Slaughter was 2 for 4 with four RBIs. Columbus got homers from Brayan Rocchio and Raynel Delgado. Clippers starter Hunter Gaddis (0-1) allowed three earned runs on five hits in six innings.
