Infamous streaker Mark Roberts recounts how he got the Super Bowl shortly after Nipplegate

Minutes after Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s infamous Super Bowl halftime show, streaker Mark Roberts seized on his chance to fulfill a dream.

As if Super Bowl XXXVIII hadn’t had enough unexpected nudity, Roberts, world famous for streaking sporting events, saw his chance to strike in Houston.

“I can’t do it during the game,” Roberts said. “It has to be before the game is in play. I don’t want to interrupt the game … I’m a professional.”

In a video interview with Yahoo Sports, Roberts explained how the NFL unwittingly helped his planned streak, how he took advantage of security and how he felt when New England Patriot Matt Chatham knocked him to the ground before officials apprehended him before carrying him out.
