Recap: The Clippers gave up 18 runs on 18 hits. Starter Riley Smith (0-1) allowed eight earned runs on eight hits in three innings. Columbus scored five runs in the third inning to cut the Indians' lead to 6-5 but couldn't score the rest of the way. Miguel Andujar and Jared Triolo each had four hits for Indianapolis and Ryan Vilade, Alika Williams and Chris Owings homered. Zack Collins had two of the Clippers' seven hits and Jhonkensy Noel had a two-run double.
