Indiana men's basketball vs. Michigan start time, TV, streaming on Peacock, betting odds

Indiana basketball continues Big Ten Conference action after a strong opener by hitting the road to play Michigan.

The Hoosiers (6-1) played a strong offensive game for the first 30+ minutes and were strong defensively the whole way in beating Maryland in their opener. Xavier Johnson missed the Maryland game with foot injury, and Trey Galloway (12 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists) filled in well. Kel'el Ware (17.7 points, 9.6 rebounds) and Malik Reneau (14.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists) lead the Hoosiers.

The Wolverines (4-4) are coming off an overtime loss to Oregon in which Dug McDaniel had 33 points. McDaniel (20.3 points, 41.2% 3-pointers, 5.2 assists), Olivier Nkamhoua (16.9 points, 7.0 rebounds) and Terrance Williams II (10.9 points, 38.5% 3s, 4.8 rebounds) lead Michigan. Phil Martelli has been coaching the Wolverines as Juwan Howard recovers from heart surgery, but Howard's workload is increasing.

IU beat Michigan twice last season, 62-61 in Ann Arbor and 75-73 in overtime in Bloomington.

IU's inside play: We saw a toughness we haven't seen yet. They'll need more of it.
