Huskers miss out on wide receiver prospect
One of Nebraska’s top remaining targets in the class of 2024 has finally announced his commitment. Wide receiver Gatlin Bair has committed to the Boise State Broncos on Saturday evening.
Bair is the No. 1 recruit in the state of Idaho and the highest-ranked recruit in that state’s history. Last season as a Junior, Bair caught 73 passes for 1,073 yards and 18 touchdowns for Burley High School.
He has been clocked at 10.15 in the 100-meter dash, good for the second-fastest high school time in the country. It’ll be a couple of years before he takes the field.
Instead, he will take a two-year mission trip following his high school graduation. Bair chose Boise State over Nebraska, Michigan, TCU and Oregon.
