Being a baseball player seems pretty cool. Besides getting to play baseball every day, you get to travel all around the country, entertain thousands of fans, and meet cool people. And sometimes, you even get to meet your own tiny clone.

Enter Charlie Teague, who loves Hunter Pence so much that he decided he wanted to look just like him. And before Tuesday’s San Francisco Giants game, Charlie and Hunter got to meet face-to-face. It was amazing.

The attention to detail in Charlie’s costume is incredible. Besides sporting a child-sized Giants uniform, complete with the high socks, the hair and the beard are just right. There’s even a headband in Charlie’s hair! MLB’s Cut4 found the perfect photo of Pence to show just how close Charlie is to the real thing.

But you may have noticed something about the photos of the meeting between Big Pence and Mini Pence: Big Pence doesn’t look like Mini Pence anymore. The real Pence got rid of his trademark hair and beard in early March, so Charlie is technically a clone of 2016 Hunter Pence. Charlie didn’t seem to mind, though. He knows that Hunter Pence is more of a state of mind than a specific look. And Charlie certainly has that Hunter Pence spirit. If you need more proof, here’s a video that shows Charlie surveying the field at AT&T Park with a Hunter Pence-ian intensity.

We’ll have to see if Charlie’s impressive hair and beard inspired Pence to grow his back. If it’s back by Halloween, they should go trick-or-treating together. The two of them wandering around a neighborhood in matching costumes and facial hair would be dynamite.
