Huge double-doubles: Vote for Nashville area Small Class boys basketball athlete of the week
The TSSAA boys basketball season isn’t slowing down as the holidays approach.
Vote for the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries Nashville area Small Class boys basketball athlete of the week. There were some huge double-doubles and monster rebounding performances from Week 5, Dec. 11-16.
Nominees are from Class 1A, Class 2A and Division II-A.
The poll is located at the bottom of the story. Voting will close Thursday at noon.
JaRohn Johnson, Clarksville Academy: Johnson led the Cougars with 24 points in an 86-78 loss to Friendship Christian.
Jeremy Jackson Jr., Columbia Academy: Jackson had a monster game with 18 points, 18 rebounds and five assists against Fayetteville.
PJ Nyapal, East Nashville: Nyapal had 18 points and 12 rebounds in s 62-57 loss to Overton.
Jayden Jones, Goodpasture: Jones had 19 points and 19 rebounds with five assists.
Auden Slaughter, Santa Fe: Slaughter scored 41 points in an 80-50 win over Perry County. He scored 34 against Hughes.
Ayden Glenn, Zion Christian: Glenn had 28 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block in a 72-66 win over Franklin Road Christian.
Matthew Terry, Zion Christian: Terry had 32 points and eight rebounds against Franklin Road Christian.
