Hornet coaches nominated for end of year honors
Dec. 22—HUNTSVILLE — After an 8-6 season and a trip to the Class 5A DII region finals, Huntsville football has two coaches nominated for season awards.
Huntsville head coach Rodney Southern has been nominated as Dave Campbell's Texas Football Coach of the Year award for Class 5A. Hornet defensive coordinator Amaury Del Real has been nominated for Defensive Coordinator of the Year presented by Catapult.
