Corpus Christi finished with five hits, which included a home run by C.J. Stubbs in the third inning and a two-run blast by Chad Stevens in the ninth to bring the Hooks within two. Hooks starter Colton Gordon pitched five innings and allowed one unearned run with six strikeouts.

Camden Duzenack homered and drove in three runs to lead the Sod Poodles.
