HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Morrell perfect at the plate as Bourne softball rolls

Pitchers can throw perfect games, but what's the equivalent for hitters?

Whatever that is, Bourne High softball player Jadyn Morrell had a 'perfect game' at the plate in a 22-7 win over Martha's Vineyard. Morrell went 6-for-6, driving in seven RBIs and scoring five times.

She wasn't the only Bourne (10-8) player to star. Jill Allen went 4-for-5 with six runs, Paige Meda was 2-for-5 with four runs, and Reese Fitzpatrick finished 2-for-6.

Martha's Vineyard falls to 2-16.
