Here's the most jaw-dropping baseball play you'll see in 2019

Every baseball season we’ll see a few plays that makes our collective jaws hit the floor. Of those few plays, only a couple will manage to be both jaw-dropping and breathtaking at the same time.

One of those plays happened Friday night during a Conference Carolinas college baseball game between North Greenville University and Erskine College.

Greenville right fielder Jeffrey Chandler made one of the most incredible and dangerous catches you’ll ever see when he tumbled head over cleats over a fence to reel in a foul ball.

Our description can’t do it justice. You just have to watch it.

Insane.

if you didn’t believe it the first time, feel free to watch it again and again and again.

The best part is that everyone was OK after that scary play. It could have ended poorly for Chandler, who just managed to brace his head-first fall by getting his arms extended. And somehow he held on to the ball through it all.

Second baseman Jeremy Whitehead survived it too despite running into the fence at a pretty good clip. Here’s hoping the pitching staff pays them back for those efforts.

Hands off to the umpire as well. He was in good position to see the play and it seems he made the right call.

North Greenville University would go on to win the game 13-4. The offensive star? That was also Jeffrey Chandler. He had three hits, including a home run, while driving in three runs.
