The 2023-24 NBA regular season schedule was announced on Thursday, as fans can begin to look forward to opening night on Oct. 24.

The Knicks will kick off their season just a day later as they play host to the Boston Celtics on Oct. 25 at Madison Square Garden in a nationally televised game with tip-off at 7:00 p.m.

That's the first of 25 nationally televised games for New York this season. Some of the other were announced earlier this month, including their Christmas Day matchup with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Other notable home games include the Knicks welcoming the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets on Jan. 25, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 3, and the Golden State Warriors on Feb 29.

New York will face off with the crosstown rival Nets for the first time on Dec. 20 at Barclays Center. They don't host Brooklyn at the Garden until late in the season (March 23).
