Here's how Augusta-area runners fared at the high school cross country state meets
The state cross country meets are in the books.
Augusta-area runners fared well, bringing home a pair of individual state championships and another in the team category. The Georgia Independent Athletic Association state meets took place at First Presbyterian Day in Macon last week and the Georgia High School Association meets took place at Carrollton High School over the weekend.

GIAA 3A
Boys
While the Westminster Schools of Augusta boys team won the state title, senior Adam Lippe earned the individual state championship with a course-record time of 16:14.00 at First Presbyterian Day in Macon. The Wildcats filled the podium as sophomores Lucas Johnson (16:40.38) and Eric Robinson (17:28.84) finished second and third, respectively.
