Hamlin, Sioux Valley and De Smet boys basketball teams also ranked in final polls

Castlewood has the No. 1-rated Class B boys team in the state in the final South Dakota Prep Media basketball polls of the season.

The Warriors enter the postseason with a 17-3 record.

Other area rated oys basketball teams include Hamlin (17-3), No. 2 in Class A; Sioux Valley (18-2), No. 4 in Class A: and De Smet (17-3), No. 3 in Class B.

Watertown (12-8 in AA), Groton Area (16-4 in A) and Leola-Frederick Area (19-1 in B) each received votes this week.

This week's polls include the final Class AA girls basketball ratings of the season.

The South Dakota Prep Media basketball polls for the week of Feb. 26 are listed below, ranking the top-five teams in each class, record, total points and previous ranking. First-place votes received are indicated in parentheses.
