Mother Nature wins again.

Friday night's game between the Guardians and New York Yankees has been postponed to a split doubleheader on Saturday. The game will be made up at 12:10 p.m. along with the already-scheduled 6:10 p.m. game.

This mean the Guardians will end up playing three doubleheaders in the span of six days, including Tuesday's doubleheader that Cleveland split with the Minnesota Twins, Saturday's doubleheader with the Yankees and Monday's scheduled doubleheader with the Tigers in Detroit.

Kirk McCarty is expected to be called up as the 27th man to pitch the first game opposite Gerrit Cole. Aaron Civale will take the mound in the second game opposite Nestor Cortes.
