From Grant Williams’ trade to Jaylen Brown’s supermax: catching up on Boston’s offseason

Former Boston Celtics restricted free agent Grant Williams got himself signed and traded to the Dallas Mavericks, with fans and analysts griping about the minimal haul the Celtics let the Charlotte native go for.

At the same time, several reports have surfaced explaining the reason why the Celtics have yet to extend Jaylen Brown to his potential $295 million supermax extension. The rumor that we might still see a Malcolm Brogdon trade looms, and of course there is always how Boston might get involved in the Damian Lillard-Miami Heat debacle.
