Golf state champs, soccer stars and volleyball standouts: Vote for the girls athlete of the week in Nashville

It's voting time. Vote for the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries girls high school athlete of the week for Oct. 9-14.

This week we have athletes from the high school soccer field, volleyball court and the golf course.

Here are this week's candidates.

Karlie Campbell, Summertown: Campbell captured the TSSAA Class A girls individual golf state championship by firing a two-day total 135 (68-67) last week at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Caroline Pardue, Providence Christian: Pardue captured her second Division II-A girls state championship in golf in the last three years after shooting 4-under 136 (64-72) and helping her school break the state record with the lowest girls team score (279) in history last week.

Alexandra Crews, Ensworth: Crews won the DII-AA girls golf title with a 3-over 143 (75-68) by beating teammate Savannah Cherry in the first hole of a playoff last week. Crews and Cherry led Ensworth to the DII-AA girls team title.

Brooke Bennett, Page: Bennett finished fourth in the Class 2A state tournament, firing a 4-over and a two-day total of 146 (72-74) last week.

Elle Lassiter, Station Camp: Lassiter had a hat trick and added three assists as Station Camp captured the District 9-2A tournament title, beating White House, 9-1 last Thursday.

Emma Johnson, Liberty Creek: Johnson scored three goals as Liberty Creek knocked off White House-Heritage in the District 6-1A championship last Wednesday.

Addison Alexander, Spring Hill: Alexander had a hat trick as Spring Hill rolled to a 4-0 win over Columbia in the District 9-3A semifinal last Tuesday.

Gracie Hibdon, Gallatin: Gracie was named region MVP with a combined 23 kills, three aces 16 assists, 19 digs and three blocks as Gallatin swept James Lawson and Green Hill for the Region 6-3A championship last week.

Sadie Kroeger, PCA: Kroeger had 22 kills, 12 digs and an ace as PCA knocked off Concord Christian in 3 sets last week to advance to the DII-A state semifinals this week in Murfreesboro.

Lauren Slatton, Warren County: Slatton shot a 1-under, 137 (68-69) to claim the Class 2A girls state golf championship last week.
