Gibala, Wiltrout win twin 35's, Dallape earns 3rd in a row at Jennerstown Speedway

JENNERSTOWN ― Twin 35-lap features in the Martella’s Late Model division dominated the action on Saturday at Jennerstown Speedway.

Following an emotional opening ceremony in honor of Memorial Day, Teddy Gibala led off the night with his first win of the season in the first of two Martella’s Pharmacies Late Model features. He came from eighth position to best pole-sitter Barry Awtey.

Ken Burkholder notched his second victory of the season, tying him with Darin Mauzy, each with two wins over the first five weekends, in the Integrity Coatings Chargers Division.

RJ Dallape used a last lap pass on Skylar Berkey to pick up his third straight win in the Somerset Trust Company’s Fast N' Furious 4's Division.

Ready to go Lakin, Hemminger ready to get behind the wheel as racing season gets underway

Will Hemminger lead every lap to earn his third victory in five starts in the One Stop Auto Sales Pro Stocks Division.

In the Ron’s Collision Center Street Stocks, Richard Meehleib, Jr. increased his points lead by 12 over Brent Bickerstaff by winning his second race of the year.

Dale Glessner won for the first time at Jennerstown Speedway, moving from fith position to grab the checkered flag in the Stoystown Auto Wreckers Modifieds Division.

The evening’s finale saw Garry Wiltrout spring to the front midway through the race to gain his first win ofthe year in the second of two Martella’s Pharmacies Late Model features.

Saturday, Jennerstown Speedway will honor First Responders. It will also be Autograph Night as all six divisions in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series will be in action.
