Giants TE Darren Waller questionable for Cowboys opener with hamstring injury

NEW YORK — New Giants tight end Darren Waller has a hamstring injury and is questionable for Sunday night’s opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

Waller, 30, was a new name on Friday’s final injury report. He was limited in Friday’s practice, and he’s now questionable entering the team’s prime time opener.

Wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson (knee), meanwhile, is doubtful for Week 1 coming off last season’s torn ACL.

The Giants are looking for their second straight season-opening win under coach Brian Daboll and their first Week 1 win over Dallas since 2016.

Eight players were limited in Friday’s practice: the six on the injury report and RB Gary Brightwell (knee) and TE Lawrence Cager (ankle).
