Denver 1, UND 0 — Jared Wright 7 (Rieger Lorenz) 1:46. Denver gets a matchup with its second line on UND's fourth and it takes advantage. UND defenseman Keaton Pehrson has a shot blocked from the point and Denver goes the other way with its speediest skater. Wright has enough speed to gain space on UND's Jake Livanavage. Fighting Hawks goalie Ludvig Persson makes the initial save on Wright, but the Kings draft pick buries it on the rebound.

Denver 1, UND 1 — Cameron Berg 14 (Jake Livanavage, Jackson Blake) 13:20 (pp). UND's power play stays red hot and it makes McKade Webster pay for taking a late hit on Louis Jamernik V. Berg catches a pass from Livanavage in the left circle and fires a shot through a Jackson Kunz screen. UND's power play is now 9-for-20 since Christmas and 4-for-6 in the last two weekends.

Denver 2, UND 1 — Sam Harris 5 (Shai Buium, Jack Devine) 7:17. UND struggles to advance the puck, gets caught in its own zone for consecutive shifts and ends up paying for it. Shai Buium carries the puck to the goal line, Harris pops out to the left circle and the two connect on a short pass. Harris rifles a shot off the bar and in to give the Pioneers the lead again.
