Four-star WR Xavier Jordan commits to USC

USC has received a commitment from 2024 four-star Sierra Canyon (California) wide receiver Xavier Jordan. The wideout made the announcement on social media on Monday morning.

Jordan collected 83 receptions for 1,626 yards and 20 touchdowns in his junior season at Cathedral High School in Los Angeles.

Jordan was productive on the track last spring as well. A personal best of 11.09 in the 100-meter dash and a 21-foot, 4-inch long jump boosted his athletic profile and will augment what he showed on the field.

The local kid plays 15 minutes away from the Coliseum. The L.A. native picked USC over Georgia and a pair of Pac-12 schools, UCLA and Colorado.

“I knew where I wanted to be,” Jordan said. “I’m very excited to be a Trojan, this is the best place for me. No matter who else offered or where else I visited, I knew I would be going to USC so there was no need to put it off.
