Four Cincinnati teams ranked atop their divisions in 1st state soccer poll

The Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association released its first statewide polls of the 2023 season.

Cincinnati is very well-represented in the polls, with the top-ranked team in four of the six sets of rankings.

Moeller is top-ranked in boys Division I. The Crusaders, who were state semifinalists last year, are off to a 5-0 start this season coming into a big Greater Catholic League showdown with St. Xavier Tuesday night.

The area has the top-ranked team in all three girls divisions. Reigning state champions Seton (Division I) and Cincinnati Country Day (DIII) are atop their polls, and 2022 state runner-up Waynesville is ranked first in Division II.

CCD is 3-1, with the loss to Summit Country Day (1-0), who is ranked second in Division II.
